Maintain Truth

The world is full of divers views and ideologies. Men conceive and bring forth different meanings. To many people, truth has become relative and depends only on the relative circumstance, and who wins with a superior argument.

What is truth? Truth is what it is when God speaks. The word of God is truth. This meaning some have fought to kill, describing their personal views as ultimate.

Look to God, hear from His lips and receive Truth. This life lived on the words which God spoke is the true life and truth expressed.

To you who have received God’s word maintain truth. Stand firmly on His word. Resolutely depend and defend truth- the word of God.

To Rise above and beyond

As a believer you must learn and understand how to control your environment if not it will keep you captive. You must learn how to rise above whatever challenge or difficulty that comes your way because it is the environment that sets limitation on people. You need to renew your mind so that everything that God has ordained within you can come to pass. It is not about the amount of sermons you listen to that will bring about the change.

This is because if you preach to a set of people that do not understand what you are preaching about; the words or promises of God will seem far off. They will look at the promises and even though they want it, like the nation of Israel wanted and desired the Promised Land it will all seem unreachable. This is because the experiences they had in the past just did not allow them to accept the promises of God that they know to be the true will of God for their lives; and to see with their eyes that it could actually become the experience in their lives.

Hence you might preach to people about great things in the word of God but because of the experiences within their lives and the condition of their soul they find it difficult to accept that things like that can actually happen to them. It is important to know how to surmount these issues because the world has spent time trying to make sure that people are programmed in a way that is in complete opposition to what God has intended for their life. This means when God shows up in your life and says “this is what I have separated you from your mother’s womb to become”, things that happened in your early days or things that happened around you will so contradict what God is saying that the person finds it difficult to accept the will of God for their life. Once it is not accepted by that person, then there is nothing that can be done to change the life of that particular person. That is why God said, “Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. (Heb 8 vs 9-10)

We know that the tongue of a man is the pen of a ready writer (Psalm 45:1) so; God is saying I will use your tongue to change the laws that are written inside your heart and change the experiences in your soul so that you can experience my word within your life. The things that God wants to change are the experiences that are in your soul therefore, once you can accept that what He is saying is true; it will automatically happen within your life. That is why God says “I will use my tongue/words to rewrite the laws”, in other words, I will use my tongue to change the experiences that are inside your soul in order to give you access to certain things within your life. Therefore, as believers we must be careful with how we use our words. Let’s use our words to build the life and world that God created and intended for us.

Our hearts are the channels through which the Pure River of Water of Life flows to a dry and thirsty world, where no water is.
Let us therefore live our lives not to contaminate or constrict this Life giving Water by being judgmental, and thus uncharitable.

Let us harbour no unforgiveness lest bitterness find its root in us, consequently polluting the Pure Water of Life.
We ought to love ALL fervently with a pure heart, & with the same manner of love wherewith we were loved by the Lord.
This unconditional & unfathomable Love of the Father has been poured out in our spirits by the Holy Ghost: let the Rivers of Living Water flow unabatedly.

How I Deal With Corruption:

Dear Reader,

I like to post nice write ups with provoking thoughts on my blog.

Mr Strive Masiyiwa is an inspiring Christian, and an excellent business man. He is the founder of ECONET Wireless as well as other businesses. Here is his take on corruption and doing business in Africa.

One of the questions, I am often asked by people who want to invest in Africa, is how do I deal with people demanding bribes….

My answer is really quite simple: I have never had any difficulty with saying, “NO”.

Corruption only occurs at the point you decide to participate; it takes two. There is the one demanding it, and the one who pays it.
And really this is how we fight it: each one of us, saying NO.

For me personally, dealing with corruption has never been difficult because of my faith. In my own mind, to quote, the Apostle Paul, “I am fully persuaded” that there is no person or force, in all the universe, that has the capacity to stop something which God has given me. This is a deep, deep conviction for me. I believe that I will never ever be disadvantaged because I walked away from a corrupt deal. In fact, on this the bible is clear: if I walk away, or lose anything because of my conviction that it is wrong, God will replace it with something much bigger and better,..”in this life” (Mark 10:29- 30).
Sometimes I have been viciously persecuted, because of my stand against corruption, at other times, I have had to wait for years, because some corrupt individual or individuals, were blocking our way. And always I prevailed, because, “faith abides” (it never, ever, fails).

Ironically some of the worst corruption I have witnessed, was not in governments, but in the private sector. Some of the most corrupt people I have known were not Africans, but, we as Africans must take responsibility, individually, and collectively, to fight corruption.

I could write a book about what happens to you spiritually when you accept a bribe, or offer one, but I will not do so, today. And for those of you who do not consider the spiritual perspective, let me rather respectively, say this:
We would not, as Africans, need aid from anybody if we tackle corruption; no child would sleep hungry if we tackle corruption; there would be no injustice, if we tackle corruption; every child will be in school, if we tackle corruption. The most powerful force, against corruption begins with one person, saying “NO”.

When Your Mess Becomes Your Message

“Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14 NIV)

For twenty years, my brother was absent from our family because of drug addiction. Countless times, we thought he was dead; according to drug abuse statistics, he should have been. However, my brother is living proof that God is in the restoration business. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you’ve done, or what has been done to you. God is willing and able to turn any tragedy into triumph.

After entering many treatment programs with hopes of success and end results of failure, my brother finally found the answer: Jesus. It wasn’t until he met the Lord that he experienced lasting healing and life change. Suddenly, all things became new.

My brother didn’t have the strength, willpower, or ability to free himself from bondage, but that changed when he surrendered his life to Christ. The same is true for us. No matter what the bondage is—drugs, lust, gluttony, pride, anger, or fear—until we renounce our sickness and surrender to Christ, we will never experience freedom. On the other hand, when we are willing to give King Jesus our mess, He turns it into our message. And that’s exactly what happened to my brother. Not a day goes by that my brother doesn’t look for opportunities to brag on God and share His message of hope.

Such an opportunity arose one evening when my sister, brother, and I met together for dinner at a local restaurant. Our server was twenty-six-year-old Tiffany. Right away, we noticed two things about Tiffany. She had a natural gift for putting people at ease, and she was very pregnant. While we enjoyed her kind service, we had no idea that God would soon call us to serve her.

It started when my sister refused to allow my brother to pay for her dinner. While my sister loves to give to others, she’s not so good at receiving. I, on the other hand, understood that it gave my brother great pleasure to pick up the check. The Lord knows I didn’t want to deny him his blessing!

Poor Tiffany found herself caught in the middle. Eager to win her over to his side, my brother said to Tiffany, “You see, I was a drug addict for years. During that time, my sisters did a lot for me. Now, I just want to bless them.”

Tiffany’s eyes widened. “You were a drug addict?” she inquired. “I would have never guessed.”

“Yes, I was,” my brother replied. “But Jesus changed all that.” Then he told Tiffany his life-changing story.

“I went from being lost to being found; from being homeless to being a homeowner; from being an employee to owning my own business; from being bound by drugs to being set free in Christ.”

Tears filled Tiffany’s eyes as we shared God’s love with her. That’s not all. Later that week, we confirmed God’s love to her by presenting her with a gift for her baby.

When you and I—like my brother—allow God to turn our mess into our message, He not only changes our lives, but He changes the lives of others too.

Dear Lord, Your mercy astounds me. Give me opportunities to speak of Your hope so others may know Your goodness and salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you were God

Just imagine for a moment that are God; yes the almighty creator of all things. Don’t worry it’s not a blasphemy, you are only imagining. Wow! What do you think?

If you were God, would you allow sunshine to rise on both your friends and your enemies, have plants extract essential parts of “your sun” to make food for those who do want you and those who don’t. Would you let the rain fall for both those who revere you and those who think you are nothing?  Just for a moment again, think if you were God.

God made a beautiful earth for us, with trees to provide us food and raw materials; yet we eat with complain, insatiable and never grateful. Seas of water God gave us, providing enough to drink and live by, yet we do not think great of His love. Air we breathe for free and yet many do not think He has done anything worthy of praise. What would you do to man if you were God?

God created His world, Created man and told him how to live on the earth. The creature choose not to do as instructed by the creator, the product choose not the do what the producer produced him for. The product of God had malfunctioned; man was no longer what God had created from the beginning. What would you have done if you were God?

Imagine a father whose kids disobey his instruction or a lecturer whose students did the wrong thing. Or even you when your friends offend you; the taxi driver said something you didn’t like; the car splashed mud on you.

Do you remember your response in all of this case; do you remember how often you changed friends, kept malice, fought and quarrel. We just can’t seem to keep up with each other’s mistakes and short comings. Now imagine you were God. What would you done to all those who offend you , how many times we killed people in our hearts, wished they were dead, used harsh abusive words on people. How many times have you rained causes on people? If you were God, all those you had called names would have been what you called them and those you wished dead would have been dead by now. That likely may include some of the closest persons to you.

The point really is this: how God almighty is so different from us, that if we were God the world would not last, because we would exterminate each other for very small offences. However, God is not like that. He is full of love and compassion.

Man offended God yet He seeks after us as though we didn’t do anything wrong. He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus to redeem man from his pain caused by his own disobedience. God does not give up on people; He has faith in the ability of the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus to save you, no matter who you are, where you are and what you have done or even doing right now.

Romans 5:7&8 Says this: “for scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. (KJV version)

Yes, if we were God, we may not receive one that has wrong us, sinned against us, but not God! In spite of your faults and frailties, His love for you is unending. To receive God’s love, you have to receive Jesus. He said “for God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)TLB version.

When you receive Jesus, you receive the love God, as you walk in Christ Jesus; you walk in the Love of God and enjoy the great benefits. I am so glad man is not God, and that includes you. So nobody, not even you should condemn you, for God condemned Jesus on the cross on your behalf. Now arise, it’s your day of salvation, take what God has prepared for you. MS

Say this short prayer and it’s all yours:

Dear God, I believe in the death and resurrection of your son Jesus Christ, and I confess Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life. I receive the remission of my sin and eternal life into my spirit, thank you Lord for saving me. I am born-again; I am a child of God. Amen.

If you said this prayer kindly leave a comment on this page. God bless you.

Welcome to my page!

The world is not sure where they are headed. I said “they” like I am not part of it. Well in sense yes I am not.

The Lord Jesus in John 15:19, said, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you”.

I am not of this world’s origin, the Christian’s life is from a different source- God, and that made possible because of our faith in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 4: 4-6 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:…. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world,…. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us;….

In theeclessiapage, we tell about Christ the person, and how living the Christ life on earth makes you an excellent Pearson.

Welcome to my blog.
